LF Reaction Dual Bay Reservoir BYO
Born from years of feedback from our customers, we are proud to bring you the new LF Reaction series of reservoirs, our highest quality and most customizable reservoir to date.
The reservoir features the same style and shape as before, but includes the following key design changes:
- Holes to mount front plate are moved closer to the center, eliminating cracking and bad routed edges along the faceplate.
- Matte black top insert around fill plug
- Revised pump mount design. Comes standard with matte black rear insert. Pump mount will come with CNC machined aluminum insert plate with threaded holes for mounting the pump block. No more threaded inserts pulling out.
- Laser etched logo and name on lower front of faceplate
- Threaded inserts on sides for mounting in bays, reducing stripping from existing threaded holes.
- Black helix holders for a better look with the black reservoir
The reservoir features 3 rear facing ports and 1 top facing port.
The LF Reaction Dual Bay Reservoir can be mounted vertically, as is the case for cases such as the Corsair 540. When mounted in this configuration, ensure that your inlet is the top most port and the outlet the bottom most port. Depending on how the reservoir is installed, it may be necessary to ignore the labels that say "Inlet/Outlet" on the rear of the reservoir. If you are attaching a pump to the rear of the reservoir using the appropriate mount, ensure the reservoir, ensure the reservoir is always filled to the top for maximum performance and to prevent bubbles from forming within your loop.
What is the UV LED option? We are now offering a UV LED strip instead of the normal UV cathode. This does not need the additional inverter for power, it plugs in via a 3pin fan power connector.

I really like this reservoir. I had to buy a replacement because I cracked the screen when I took my old one aparthat to clean it but that was just my bad. The reservoir itself is solid. Before that I had used it for 3 years without issue.
Worth the wait

After waiting for this piece of art to get made and put together I finally got it, and let me tell you, it's amazing. The packaging for the cathode tube wasn't great, and it ended up broken, but even unlit the reservoir is basically the coolest PC part I've ever seen. The installation was a little wonky, the mount holes didn't quite match my tool-less bays, but I made it work!
Wish I would've known the dimensions a bit better before I got all the pieces, didn't realize I needed a 90 degree adapter until the very end, but it's all together, it's amazing, and I don't regret buying it, not even a bit
If you are willing to wait, nothing is better

So from ordering this product to receiving the product in my hand, it took around 4 weeks. Not terrible but if you need something in a pinch, this will likely not work for you.
But lets get on to the actual product; I first opened the box to find some screws, an inverter (which is required for the cathode to actually light up*), some power cables, some screws and the reservoir itself.
The inverter and screws are pretty standard. The only comment I need to make is that the power cables are kind of low quality, some pins were detached on mine and I have to use pliers in order to make sure the pins stay in place in order to plug them in to my PSU. There were a little bit of technical difficulties with the cables because of this but hey, it really wasn't that big of a deal breaker for me. However I docked a star because of it
Now the actual block itself. The product looks IDENTICAL to the image placed in the website, it looks solid and clearly machined.it's very high quality. The cathode sits inside a hollow tube which you can remove the cathode at any point in time. Kind of bugs me that it's not "secure", but it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. But makes it easy to take in and out if something were too happen to it.
I got UV Reactive helixes, so after plugging everything in, I cannot complain about the UV properties of the helix colours I have chosen. I CAN say though that none of the pictures I have found online give it justice. This reservoir is INCREDIBLY beautiful. I don't understand why some people think there isn't enough UV, maybe there is something wrong with their cathode. I've tested the reservoir and none of the plugs leaked.
Well made center piece, needs more than uv

This dual-bay reservoir is not only beautiful to look at but also really well made. Of course because of the customization options the order will take a little longer but it'll go with any colored themed build you have. My only minor gripe about this product would be the CC uv light, it is a tad dim, if only it where brighter and maybe frozenq offered something other than uv it'd be perfect. If you have the bay space and the front of your comp is always visible this reservoir is totally worth the pennies.
